Traditional retirement can be scary for many pre-retirees because they often feel it implies, they are no longer useful or productive. However, today seniors enjoy increased longevity and vitality well into their 80s and 90s. In this presentation, we will look at the new retirement realities and how the retirement landscape has changed. We will also look at the role advisors can play in helping their clients achieve success in their later years by going beyond standard retirement income planning and moving towards retirement lifestyle planning.

Pensions and endowments know that when building portfolios, stocks and bonds alone just won’t do. Incorporating alternatives investment in a portfolio continues to gain favour with advisors.  We believe alternatives will become core investments and over the long term they will become a critical component of an investor’s portfolio.  Join Portfolio Manager Nick Stogdill as he presents the Dynamic Alternative Yield Fund, a one-ticket solution for alternative investments, structured as an NI 81-102 fund.
 
Nick will focus on current positioning and where he is finding opportunities in a more balanced portfolio of Private Credit, Liquid Hybrid/Alternative Credit, Options for both income and protection, Infrastructure, REITs, and Alt Managers. Along with highlighting the importance of downside protection via defensive hedges, consistency of returns and seeking risk-adjusted returns.
